Your daily limit

Budget counts

Net day P/L is how firms measure a daily limit: a morning win absorbs later losses (the budget never grows past the limit).

Enter your firm’s daily loss limit.

Why trades-left beats a dollar number: "you have $340 left" invites one more oversized trade; "you have 2 more trades at your stop" is a budget your discipline can actually spend. Firm limits follow your net day P/L, the way the firms measure them — a morning win absorbs later losses, but the budget never grows past the limit. For a personal cap, switch the budget to losses only: every loss counts and wins never refill it, so a green morning doesn't buy a reckless afternoon.

Sizing each of those remaining trades? Use the futures risk panel to turn your stop distance into contracts — and the consistency rule planner to keep a hot day inside your firm’s consistency rule.

Firm rules change, so confirm your daily limit and reset time on your firm’s own dashboard. A preset sets only the daily reset time and how the budget counts: the limit is the number you enter, and the reset time can’t be changed here. Everything you enter stays in your browser. Educational tool, not financial advice. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss.

A loss limit stops the damage. Discipline prevents it. ImprintTrader scores every trade against your written rules — before the loss, not after.
