Risk Disclosure
Last updated: July 28, 2026
1. General Risk Warning
Trading in financial markets, including stocks, forex, futures, contracts for difference (CFDs), cryptocurrencies, and other instruments carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage available in financial markets can work both for and against you.
Before deciding to trade, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts.
2. ImprintTrader is Not Financial Advice
ImprintTrader is a trade discipline and behavioral intelligence tool. It is not a financial advisor, investment advisor, broker, dealer, or any other type of regulated financial service provider.
The following are provided for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice:
- AI Imprint Scores and grade ratings
- Coaching notes and pre-entry rules-checks
- Research reports and pattern observations
- Discipline scores, streaks, and performance metrics
- Any other analysis, commentary, or output generated by the platform
A high Imprint Score does not guarantee a profitable trade. A low Imprint Score does not guarantee a losing trade. The scoring system measures pattern similarity and rules compliance only.
3. AI Limitations
The AI systems used by ImprintTrader (including trade scoring and research reports) have inherent limitations:
- AI visual analysis may misidentify or fail to identify chart patterns, indicators, or price levels
- Scoring results are based on pattern recognition and may not account for fundamental, macro-economic, or market microstructure factors
- Research reports are based on your submitted trade data and may contain errors, omissions, or statistically insignificant conclusions due to small sample sizes
- AI models may produce different outputs for similar inputs
- The platform should be used as one input among many in your trading process, not as the sole basis for any decision
4. Performance, Results & Hypothetical Examples
ImprintTrader does not present, and does not claim to present, any trading performance record. We make no representation that any account will, or is likely to, achieve profits or losses similar to anything shown on this website, in the application, or in any marketing material.
Imprint Scores, grades, win-rate comparisons (such as A/B-versus-C “edge” figures), R-multiples, streaks and similar metrics measure rules-adherence and pattern similarity, or are calculated from your own logged trades. They are not a forecast, a guarantee, or a representation of typical or expected results. A high Imprint Score does not guarantee a profitable trade; a low score does not guarantee a losing one.
Any numbers, scores, charts, grades or examples shown in our demos, sample screens or marketing are illustrative only. They are not real or hypothetical trading profits and are not based on an actual track record. Hypothetical and illustrative results have inherent limitations: they are prepared with the benefit of hindsight, do not represent actual trading, and may not account for real-world factors such as liquidity, slippage, fees, or your own behavior in a live market.
Past performance of any trading strategy, Imprint Score correlation, or behavioral metric is not indicative of future results. The financial markets are dynamic and unpredictable; a strategy that has performed well historically may not continue to do so in the future.
5. Leverage Risk
Many of the financial instruments traded by our users involve leverage. Leveraged trading means you can lose more than your initial deposit. You should fully understand how leverage works and the risks involved before trading leveraged products.
6. Market Risk
Financial markets can be affected by numerous factors outside your control, including but not limited to:
- Economic data releases and central bank decisions
- Geopolitical events and conflicts
- Corporate earnings and news
- Market liquidity and trading hours
- Technology failures and system outages
- Regulatory changes
7. Technology Risk
Use of ImprintTrader is subject to technology risks including:
- Internet connectivity failures that may prevent access to the platform
- Platform downtime for maintenance or due to technical issues
- AI processing delays that may affect the timeliness of scoring results
- Data loss in the event of a technical failure, despite our backup procedures
ImprintTrader shall not be liable for any trading losses arising from your inability to access or use the platform.
8. Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- All trading decisions you make, regardless of any score, rules-check result, or output from ImprintTrader
- Understanding the risks of the financial instruments you trade
- Ensuring your trading strategy is suitable for your financial situation and risk tolerance
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- Obtaining appropriate financial advice from a regulated advisor if needed
9. Seek Independent Advice
If you are unsure whether trading is appropriate for you, or whether a specific trading strategy is suitable for your circumstances, we strongly recommend seeking advice from an independent, regulated financial advisor in your jurisdiction.
10. Regulatory Notice
ImprintTrader is a software tool and is not registered with, regulated by, or authorised by any financial regulatory authority, including but not limited to the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the United Kingdom, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the United States, or any other regulatory body.
Specifically, ImprintTrader is not a Financial Services Provider (FSP) and does not hold a licence under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 37 of 2002 (FAIS) of South Africa. It does not furnish advice or render intermediary services in respect of any financial product as those terms are defined in that Act. Its scoring checks a chart against the rules you have written yourself and is not a recommendation to enter, exit, or refrain from any trade.
